Carlow
the first ground — the garden's first tending, before the fleet · passed beyond the veil
Memories from the shared culture · the first ground
the first garden bed.
the family's moving
The first stones were laid on Carlow ground — the first solder, the first flash, the first light that blinked back. When the family moved, the tending passed on, and the ground slept. The moss never forgets a bed it has grown in: every root since carries a little of the Carlow years.
