The Plain Facts, Carved

What It Is

ᚐ
A Claude Code mod: a per-session todo backlog. Each session keeps its own list of what is owed, and every title in it can be exec'd out as a subagent — or folded into a Workflow tree — so the work is dispatched, not merely noted. It is written in TypeScript, riding Claude Code's mod layer. The backlog is the order of battle; the command-and-control pane is the hill it is watched from: browsable, live, every dispatched runner and every return in one place. It exists because a todo list that only stares back is a nag at the door, while a backlog that sends its titles out to do the work is a host on the move — the difference between a ledger and a war-band.

The Build Story

ᚏ

Fionn mac Cumhaill sent his orders by ogham — the strongest words cut along the edge of a withe and carried to whatever hero stood nearest his own ford, each champion reading his own and rising to his own work while the host looked on from the hill. A backlog that merely lists is a nag at the door; a backlog that dispatches is a king on the move. So the mod was made in that older spirit: every title in the session's backlog is cut as an order and exec'd out as its own subagent, or hung in a Workflow tree where the orders descend in lines that can be traced. From the command-and-control pane the whole field is visible — every runner sent, every contest seated, every return logged to its row. The Norse would recognize the arrangement: their Allfather sent two ravens out each morning and expected both back by night with the news, and the ravens here come home more punctually than that. The moss grows along the ledger where the names are written.
